What’s so good about the Bible?

  • by

The Bible remains the world’s best selling book but it is rarely read, often misquoted and frequently mis-understood. Have you ever wondered…

“What’s so good about the Bible?”

This is a series of eight classes during October and November 2014. It will take place in the informal and relaxed surroundings of The Cottage in the Craft Village on Shipquay Street.

The first class meets on Thursday 9th October at 7.30p.m. and will last for an hour or so, followed by tea and coffee. Most people have a Bible at home but not many spend much time getting to know what it says. This class will try to fill in some of the blanks.

We believe that the Bible answers some of the deepest and most important questions people ask today. The first class tackles the question, “Where did we come from?” There will be a presentation and an opportunity to ask questions. No previous knowledge of the Bible is assumed.

Come and bring a friend, and your own Bible if you have one.
